Parasedge Multi for Cats (Purple Box) is an FDA-approved, prescription-only monthly spot-on for cats and kittens 9 weeks or older weighing 9.1 to 18 lbs. Each 0.8 mL tube contains 10% imidacloprid and 1% moxidectin, delivering broad-spectrum 5-in-1 protection. It prevents heartworm disease, kills adult fleas, treats flea infestations, ear mites, and intestinal roundworm and hookworm infections in one monthly application.

How to Use

Directions for Use

• Prescription Required: US federal regulations require that a licensed veterinarian either prescribe or oversee the use of this medication.
• Minimum Dose: Apply to the skin once every month, with each dose supplying at least 4.5 mg/lb (10.0 mg/kg) imidacloprid and 0.45 mg/lb (1.0 mg/kg) moxidectin.
• Open Foil Pack With Scissors: Use scissors to carefully open the foil pack to avoid damaging the tube; remove and hold upright with lot and expiry at the bottom.
• Snap or Cut the Tip: Bend the tip backward firmly until it snaps off; if it does not snap, use scissors to cut it open.
• Apply at Base of Head: Part the fur at the back of the neck, place the tube tip on the exposed skin, and squeeze the entire contents onto the skin.
• Do Not Apply to Irritated Skin: Never apply to broken or irritated skin; always select a healthy, intact area of skin for each application.
• Apply Once Monthly Year-Round: Administer every 30 days, year-round, for continuous heartworm prevention and complete parasite protection.
• Prevent Licking for 30 Minutes: Keep the cat from licking the treated area for at least 30 minutes, and separate pets in homes with multiple animals until it is dry.
